the december surprise

I don't have any idea what will happen in this day since everything will be a surprise according to Jan. I have been bugging him about the whereabouts but he won't say a word. No choice, I waited. And here it is.

-Breakfast @starbucks-

To start the day we had breakfast at starbucks. He told me too meet him there 8am. I was 15 minutes late (i guess) A cup of hot chocolate and a Chocolate Toffee Nut Loaf greeted me as I arrived . I did not expect the gifts which according to Jan: good things comes in three.

Sorry for the messy hair :p Here i am trying my best to open the well-wrapped first gift. Guess what's inside?

-first gift-

Ferrero in three varieties!
Ferrero Rocher, Ferrero Rondnoir and Ferrero Garden(Coconut). The second and third are new to me and yes I was so excited for them to reach my mouth.haha F. Rondnoir tastes heaven-like. The third is a half almond coated with coconut flakes(tastes like coconutey!).

I dont have any picture while opening the small round gift which I thought was a chocolate. Ring came into my mind but I said to myself it was impossible. and when I opened it..

It's not what you think, there was no bending-on-one-knee. Since he couldn't find a pendant for the necklace he gave,this ring was used as one. the blue stone at the center was originally my birth gemstone which was Amythest. I lost the stone so he replaced it with the blue stone which was from the cellphone accessory he gave me in our 1st monthsary. :D

Then it was followed by a lovely dinner @Marco Polo. Now this is the date I see in movies where couples eat in a lovely restaurant. hahaha Honestly, never once had I imagine myself to experience as such but it was fun and something to cherish:)

This is how happy he is when he gets to eat his favorite Japanese foods! I can't stand it but he ate a plate filled with sushi :))

This is the first chocolate Jan gave me. I can still remember it was a Saturday during my mom's birthday when he secretly placed this on my bag :)

Lindt's Swiss Thins

First monthsary chocolate. These are thin, delicate squares that melts in your mouth and really tastes good. It comes in a lovely silver box and there's also a gold box that contains dark chocolate which I am looking forward to have a taste. *big grin*

Chocobloc Lait

Second monthsary chocolate. This chocolate actually looks like the famous Toblerone but the latter is much sweeter than this and of course its delicious.(As what chocolates are for me)

Ferrero Rocher

One of my favorite chocolates that I can't get enough of is ferrero. It is consist of a whole roasted hazelnut encased in a thin wafer shell filled with hazelnut cream and covered in milk chocolate and chopped hazelnuts and walnuts. yum!

'walks' to remember

I woke up today with the sound of the rain (this made me smile) so I decided to stay in bed and enjoy the cold weather. Had some hot chocolate and bread for breakfast after while sitting in front of my computer. I didn't really feel like going to school today. I miss my Saturdays back when I was in highschool- staying home the whole weekend. Preferred to stay home since I spend most of my time at school on weekdays(of course I'm in highschool.haha) And now my whole week is school and work and even Saturdays I still go to school because of my soft eng class. After school me and Mariane usually go to Sto. Nino church to light some candles but today we had some pancit canton first before heading there. Since we were both full and I get to finish Mariane's food (AGAIN) we walked our way from TC to country mall. It was a walk full of talking and laughing which is not something new for both us. Chitchat about how things are going now regarding my bestfriend's life.haha Walking with her and all those nonsense things we laugh about would really make me forget how long have we walked. So after that we took a jeepney headed to Sto.Nino. After church I went with her to do a little grocery and went home after. As I was approaching Guadalupe I decided to have a quick nap since it was so traffic. I woke up to the sound of the driver's voice saying we can step down now. How can I forget that it was our barangay's fiesta and jeepneys are not allowed to get inside the barangay because of the procession. So then I started my walking again but now alone. Instead of whining I decided to enjoy the walk. The Christmas lights everywhere reminds me that Christmas is really near. Walking alone isn't really that bad, I used to this a lot before because it helps me think and puts me on a good mood. To keep this story short I arrived home around 630. Found a broom that took me home faster.hahah (kidding!) anyway, after that I received a call from my boyfriend, Jan saying he's in ayala and alone. This surprised me coz I thought he'd just be playing computer games the whole day. A few minutes after 8 he arrived bringing a box of pizza and a ferrero chocolate for me(shweeeeet) :D He never fail to surprise me. We later tutored Denise(my younger cousin) to prepare her for an exam. Around 10pm he went home and I went to my room, watched VD and now blogging this. Posted!:)

Let me tell you about my bestfriend- Mariane Alicaya Bajenting. Things you should know about her.

• A Chinese looking Filipina whose addicted to color green.
• She loves reading and blogging. (her face is in front of her laptop everyday)

• She's picky with food but more picky with men.hahah

• She'll tell you the possible gifts you can give her this year. Thats how thick her face is.haha
  
• She's very conscious with her body figure. She doesn't eat if she thinks she's gaining weight.hahaha (anorexic?i don't think so.this is just so mariane)
  

Above all she's my bestfriend. She's someone I consider part of my family and the sister I never had. She's someone I can laugh with all day long and the person whom I can just tell everything. She's someone who tell me if the dress I'm wearing doesn't look good on me and finds me something better to wear. You'll never find someone like her and I can never replace the friendship I shared with her.

It was around 930 in the morning while I was sitting idle at the office. A sudden feeling in my stomach hit me.Hunger!hahah I don't know why but I was craving for some food-i-dont-know-exactly-what.It was weird since I ate breakfast and my sense of taste today is not functioning because of the cough and cold. I decided to ask Mariane to accompany me at the canteen. We don't have anything in mind to eat but jjampongg caught my attention. I saw this korean noodles in TV commercials and since I haven't tried this yet I decided to give it a try. It was all hot and spicy,that's the only thing I can taste.haha Here's a photo of jjampong from wiki.

christmas wish

It's the 20th of November year 2010.Didn't notice how time flies so fast. Almost December again and all I can think of is Christmas. Really excited about celebrating Christmas this year.ü Its not the presents that Im excited about but this time is just different. Its not gonna be a boring Christmas this year since some of my cousins from Bantayan Island are coming over to celebrate with us.yay! Looking forward to the noche Buena and the exchanging gifts.I just said i'm not excited with gifts ill be receiving but opening them with the people you love is exciting specially if each one of you has a gift to open. Then its also the first time that these cousins of mine will be celebrating with us. Then I just heard from Kristine today that maybe they too will celebrate Christmas with us which gives a bigger possibility of the planned reunion. My auntie arnie will be coming home too, so its gonna be a merry christmas for me:)

2010 has been really good to me and there are a lot of things to be thankful for this year. I don't have anything on my mind right now to ask for this coming christmas. What is there to ask for anyway when I feel this blessed? There's only one wish I'd ask this though, that I may be able to complete the gifts of people who are on my list.hahah went to Sto.Niño with mariane today and lit 5 candles. She took a pic of me without my knowledge but the pic right there is already scripted.she took it after I prayed.looks so true.hahah thanks photographer!

gelato -ü-

Gelato is Italy's regional variant of ice cream and today I had my first taste of it from gelatissimo(The Real Taste of Italia).Do you know whats the difference of gelato from other ice cream? Well aside from the spelling,FYI it has lower butterfat content. Yea! so you don't need to worry about your waistline.haha! Thanks to "buy one, take one"! haha If its not because of Jan(my boyfriend *haha*) maybe until now I'd still be wondering how their ice cream tastes like. Mariane got the "take one". (a.k.a bestfriend *big grin*).

I'm not really an avid fan of ice cream but hey this tastes really good and I think I'm gonna go back there and taste all other flavors.It's the first ice cream that made me want to go back for more.Jan, who bought that for me and Mariane only got a spoon of it. ooops! sorry.that's how good it tastes almost didn't share it. hahah Today I tasted two, the choco chip and macadamia caramel. Choco chip is much sweeter than the latter but of course I don't mind since were talking about chocolate.It will always be chocolate.Me and chocolate against the world.HAHAH
